I work as a Premier Banker, my role mainly involves outbound call to customer to search for solutions to customer needs
I was an internal applicant, so I have added to my existing skill set and refined what I already knew. I have attained new conversation skills from new leader ship and had issues with my skills I never knew I had come to light, allowing me to develop and improve
love it, it is giving me the opportunity refine where I want to end up and I am already speaking to other areas, in order to rotate into them at a later date
from the uni side it is excellent, the support and knowledge is unparralled. from a working stand point (the premier department) the focus is on me which is also excellent. However I have not spoken to any member of the Barclays apprentice team since my first week.
the team and department I am with are excellent, though I have had no dealing with the Barclays apprentice team, I couldn't comment on if they are good or bad, anything needed I have to find out myself or ask within the Premier team (who are happy to help)
they go above and beyond, trips to London are excellent
It helps give a wider view of the market and tools we use
yes lots, although I do not attend as many as I should due to family commitments
Yes
its an excellent plat to work
listen, and learn something or anything from everyone you meet
