My role is calling outbound as well as inbound and dealing with accountants with their sales enquiries and problems. Admin is also incorporated into my job. For example changing accounts to the appropriate account managers and converting sales sheets. Delegating leads to the right account owner so they are able to pursue the sale is also part of the job role.
Yes, I feel as though I have matured as a person since joining the business world. the responsibility of the job means that I have to be on time and professional in the working environment. The job has also given me a start up to gain links and experience in the industry.
My hours in work are very enjoyable as I like the working atmosphere and getting tasks done. However my apprenticeship has been woeful. I received minimum contact with my tutor, and never know what is happening. My tutor has since left the company (as it has folded) and I am now stuck in the mud.
My apprenticeship has been poorly structured with constant errors In our paperwork leading to us filling out the same paperwork around 5 times and starting the apprenticeship 5 months late. I've had MINIMUM contact with my tutor and he has since left. However the online lecturers are very well organised
All my managers are very supportive when it comes to the work. however when both I and my employers are unsure of what is happening with the programme its not ideal. lack of communication with the tutor and no info from the apprenticeship provider there is little they can do.
None. Both my tutor and the training provider have offered little help. I understand that my tutor is busy with other students. however in my 8 months since starting the apprentiship, I have seen him twice. very rarely do I here from the company or my tutor. so my apprentice work I feel is done with no help.
Not very much. For example in our online labs where we learn about things that never come up in my day to day working life. from fixing computers from scratch to learning technical names of a PC motherboard. Nothing I have learnt from this apprenticeship has been at all helpful,
Yes, in our work we have a 11 aside football team that play on Mondays and Tuesdays. there is around 16 of us all from the office that play in a league formed of other local business around our area. Team nights out are also good. this is where we go for some food and bond as a team
Yes
Great company with great people. all the staff are friendly and approachable and made me feel very welcome. the office is always a great place to work keeping both a professional and fun side of working. the managers are very supportive and are good at keeping everyone pleased and in good spirits
I would say be yourself, in my role it relies a lot on personality and how you are as a person. for anyone trying to apply I would highly recommend it. Working is made easy by the calm and professional atmosphere in the office and is a great place to learn the trade.
