On a day to day basis I will be exspected to help across the assembly line which can involve helping with parts, cleaning or building. I am usually helping on the marraige which involves attaching the engine to the body. I am involded in helping with the front package of the car which involves fixing in bolts to attach the engine to the chassis. I also fix in the the struts and torgue wrench them.
I have learnt how to correctly use a torgue wrench which has helped me progress within my station. I have found since learning this package it has helped me boost my confidence and get a better understanding with fixtures and different componants and have learnt which different model of cars are and how differently they all work and fix togather.
I truly enjoy the programme and have found that it has helped me find myself within the company however i would like to keep on delevoping my skills and learning new things. I would say that it is a great place to start and work your way up within the company.
I would say that my programme could need with better structure but overall is well orginised. usually we are informed about changes or tasks that are set but it sometimes gets confusing with college as some tasks are computer based and some are written and they are not clear on which ones go where.
I receive support when needed from my employer when stuck on something but sometimes takes a while to get any response as they are busy but i have no issue in getting support when needed. college i receieve plenty of support aswell and if i have a issue will get resolved as soon as possible.
I receive as much support as i need whilst working towards my qualifications e.g if i need any work that im not sure on i can receieve surpport and guidence which can help me understand and over come to work towards my qualification so i would say i receieve enough support from my training provider
Sometimes i can relate work and college togather. for example when i am at work i can risk access and determine wether some task are safe to carry out or not and who could be at risk. learning this through my training provider has made me more alert to hazards and risks which can occur in the workplace.
there are many extra activities which my work offers which i can get involded in. there are many social and professional networking events which are hold. you can ring your family to the work place for a day to give them a understanding on what you do in your job role and you can show them the different models of cars which they can usually take a trip in.
Yes
I would recommend bmw group to a group or to anyone as it is a great compnay to work for with great espects to progress. you can also make a great career out of the company as there are so many departments and areas you can go into and learn about. there are also other perks which can involve discounts.
i would recommend striving for the best of what you can do and have a great understanding of the company. i would also advice that you should only apply if you are keen and passionate of working hard and aiming to hit personal and professional goals which can help you progress whithin the company.
