  • I am Customer Experience Leader at McDonalds and manage a team of 9 on the lobby area. My team and I make sure the customer has the best visit possible to our store. We run fundraising events and birthday parties as well as activities for the children.

  • Ive learnt more about interacting with customers and managing my team as well as building my own self confidence

  • I have really enjoyed the programme. It has given me the courage to undertake more qualifications in the future.

  • I think the programme is very well organised and after getting my head around the process it actually came quiet naturally.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I've received full support from my employer both in resources and time to undertake the programme in working hours. I cant fault the companies support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has given me the self confidence for and understanding of the requirements of a CEL.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have 6 monthly social activities chosen by the staff. These have been bowling, picnic and games, paintballing etc

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have found them to be a very supportive employer with good rates of pay and benefits such as pension, apprenticeships and on the job training.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
  • Come in with an open mind. McDonalds stores are a very busy environment to work in which can be stressful but very enjoyable and the camaraderie between colleagues is amazing.
