My role is to great customers in store and give them the best experience possible. I start my day by organising the shelf’s making sure everything is stocked up then keep them stocked throughout the day. I also assist customers with anything they need help with and serve them on the tills
I have gotten better at talking to customers and dealing with their concerns as well as getting quicker at finding things around the store. The main skill I feel I have learnt is my customer facing skills when I am serving customers and talking to them polite to make sure their experience is pleasant
I enjoy my programme even thou I’ve never really liked any job I have had however this job is really fun and everyone I work with is nice and respectful. I also feel like it is an easy going job without any pressure and I can’t really go wrong
My programme is structured well I feel I get given a lot of time to do things and I feel like I learn a lot. I feel it could be done quicker and I could complete all my work in a few months if the work level was more intense
The support I get from my employer is good and I feel like I get enough support. My shifts are flexible and there is loads of holiday offered annually which means I can balance work and home life. I feel like the managers are well organised and know what they want from their staff
When working towards my qualifications I get given enough support with a lot of education based projects. I also get given good feedback and my results are given back pretty quickly. I am motivated and my college teacher notices this and makes me a priority if I ask for help
My qualification is really good for my job role as it shows me how to adapt to certain situations with customers and how to handle difficult situations. I have learnt how to diffuse arguments quickly and hassle free and I have learnt how to be patient with some of the customers
We do not really have that many extra activities outside of the work place as we all work different patterns and don’t usually have the time to do anything outside of work. I feel like I am tired after long days and I don’t feel like doing much.
Yes
The managers are really polite and the staff are amazing to work with I feel that we are like a big family and we all get on well. I feel that it is a relaxed place to work without a lot of pressure and most of the customers that come in are friendly
Always smile! That is my first tip! The managers look for people who are happy and polite and always there to help a customer and go the extra mile. I would suggest to look at ways online to writing a good cv and include a photo of yourself pinned to the top of your cv looking happy
