I do the day-to-day jobs such as preparing food and beverages for customers to enjoy. I also interact with different types of customers. Some of my responsibilities include keeping the floor clean and tidy, keeping all condiments stocked up, serving customers and keeping the stations that I am working on fully stocked up ready for the next busy period.
I have learnt how to do a various amount of tasks that I never would have known how to do before working at Mcdonalds. This includes, how to prep a kitchen ready for a different menu for example main menu, how to do different cleaning regimes and how to recycle correctly and effectively.
I enjoy my programme a lot because all of he staff are very friendly and all managers are encouraging and will help you out if you are stuck. everybody works as a team and nothing goes undone. the managers are very encouraging and help you to provide the best service possible.
my programme is very well organised and structured, I know what I need to do in-between my meetings with my mentor. Training and support are very good and I know what I need to study/what tasks to complete in order to be organised and on time for my next tasks.
I receive lots of support from my employer and everybody in the store. Everybody is very enthusiastic and hard- working and motivating. I can access support very easily and everybody is very approachable. the general attitude towards supporting me is very good and accessible and I really like working here.
I receive lots of support from my training provider when working towards my qualifications, I understand what I need to do in order to prepare for my meetings and that support is very easily accessible. I enjoy working with my training provider as I get everything I need and I can access it quickly.
I feel that my qualification through my training provider helps me to perform better in my job role because I get all the support I need and I only have to ask if I need some support. I feel that I know more about my job role whilst I am on the apprenticeship scheme.
There are many extra curricular activities to get involved in at my place of work, this includes charity fundraising, going to the gym with colleagues and performing different sports. when I am not working I spend my time with my horses, making sure that are looked after to the highest standard possible.
Yes
I would recommend working at Mcdonald's to a friend because it is a very friendly and reliable place to work, everybody is very enthusiastic and encouraging. all of the staff help each other out and work as a team. It is a very good company to work for because everybody is kind.
The tips and advice I would give to others applying to work for Mcdonalds, would be to be confident about your skills, explain any other quality skills they may have. And that the interview is not scary, but to listen to what you are being told and follow instruction and be polite.
