  • 1. Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:
  • I found it very interesting as it gave me an insight to the different departments at PwC. As well as this it was filled with a lot of information regarding the different pathways into a career at Pwc. The buddies were extremely helpful and answered any question.

  • 2. What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?
  • I learnt the different ways into PwC eg: the apprenticeship programme or the flying start degree programme. i also managed to develop my business skills due to some of the work that had been set.

  • 3. To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?
  • I really enjoyed the experience as I managed to speak to different people from different departments and gain insight on the different stages into gaining a way into working for Pwc

  • 4. How well organised was your work experience?
  • There was times where there was not much for us to do. Of course, the buddies that we had were busy with their own work however, there was times where we didnt have anything to do, this could have been down to the lack of work for us to do.

  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
  • I learnt a lot about the different departments in the different lines of service. As well as this I learnt about how everyone worked all together as a group and were so welcoming.

  • 6. How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?
  • before the programme I was set on having a career in law however since this work experience I have now considered a career in the consulting department as i enjoyed the experience there the most.

  • I was paid for the work experience. We will recieve about £9.60 per hour.

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • yes, all week whilst we were in different departments we were speaking to different people from the different departments. I managed to speak to a number of different people from associates to managers.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I would reccomend it to people considering a career in finance or business as it showed me the different parts into a career in business/finance.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Thoroughly research the company as a whole before applying because it will give you more of an insight on whether the programme would be well suited for you.
