Two days of shadowing Audit and Tax and a day doing a consulting case study. A project in group which ran throughout the week.
Office etiquette. Networking skills. Excel skills.
I enjoyed the consulting part greatly however I less enjoyed audit. Tax far exceeded my expectations.
Very well organised. The first day set us up with our laptops for the week and everyday we had new tasks to do.
It really surprised me how relaxed the office environment was. It was a dress for your day dress code and people were very easy to talk to.
Personally I don't think accounting is for me but it has been very useful to find this out.
Yes we are paid at 9.60/hour.
Yes we shadowed a buddy everyday and they often introduced us to other employees.
Yes
It gave you an honest insight into Pwc and accounting.
Just give it a shot and don't be worried about it being too difficult everyone is there to help.
