I was a tech degree apprentice meaning I got place within a team in PwC and was expected to integrate and learn on the job
Yes, I learned about coding in C#, ASP.NET, Angular, and Decisions. These were all technical skills for software development
I enjoyed interacting with my team and going to various events; training and social. I did not enjoy the lack of guidance within my individual tasks.
Fairly well organised. My team did well adapting to my placement with them, but it did feel like they didn't know what to do with me to begin with.
A fair amount of support. We always had someone we could contact when it came to communicating any issues on a variety of subjects.
Queens doesn't have any input while I'm on work placement however during the uni years I get plenty of support
Significantly better
Yes there are plenty. I personally don't get too involved but there are plenty of things still going on
Yes
Lots of support and great opportunity to find work you like doing
