Manage team to ensure a full store, so customers can get everything that they need. to serve the customers in a friendly efficient manner so that they return. Control costs in store, from wages, to stock management such as waste and stockloss. In addition to this I am completing my apprenticeship.
I have learnt lots of new management techniques whilst completing my apprentiship.
I am enjoying the program, however at times it can be quite difficult balencing all aspects
The program is really well structured with 12 modules to read and learn before an end point assessment, at each visit we sign off a module after an in depth discussion and discuss the work require for the next module. Booking in several dates for visits at a time is a useful planning tool.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is really good and keeps me focused on what needs to be achieved by the next visit. Having it broken down into bite size chunks suits my learning needs. Im supported whether i work well orally, on paper or by using technology.
The course has opened my eyes to different techniques and ways of working.
Yes
It has a family feel to all stores, the pay is good.
There is a lack of work life balance.
