My role involves ensuring that their is safety in the workplace for customers and colleagues as well as ensuring the store is trading legally within trading standards as well as environmental and giving the best customer experience when in store
I have learnt more skills on behaviour with staff and customers and how my actions are processed as well as my communication with colleagues has improved. I have also developed my skills around understanding the business and its strategies.
I feel that I have enjoyed leading and developing new skills as well as finding out more about myself and finding ways to improve as a manager
The programme itself is well structured with easy are by step modules to follow however feel the skills endorsements needs to be simpler and easy for companies to understand going forward
I have received very little support from employers due to running a shop by myself or assisting and supporting managers in poor performing stores
I have received excellent training and support from Lifetime who have really helped me when I have struggled throughout this programme, they have been very supportive in assisting me when I needed help most.
I feel it has helped me with management techniques and know a lot more about the business in the decisions it makes and how it tries to earn profit.

For a place to shop I would agree, in terms of working however i feel that the retail business side of things is becoming increasingly difficult to work for and feel that the demands and the challenges that are given can cause serious amounts of stress
My advice would be that they must be very strong willed and strong minded to cope with the increasing pressure however Iceland does have a massive family feel to it so you must be willing to show enthusiasm and good character
