Technician Trainee Tasks carried out involve filing, drawing out steelwork, foundations and drainage on autocad and pdms design software packages.
I have learnt how to interpret engineering drawings and learnt about various engineering terms, methods of construction and properties of materials used.
Costain allows me to work within a design team on active projects. The apprenticeship meets my expectations well. I enjoy the friendly helpful environment that allows me to progress my skills within engineering fully.
My line manager and other Costain employees I work with give me praise and recogniton for the work I do.
The Apprenticeship Is organised well providing training in all areas of engineering.
I receive sufficient advise and help from my training provider.
