I was working as an Assurance associate in audit. I worked on test of details and controls testing.

Yes. I learned the fundamentals of audit, how an audit engagement works (the process as a whole) and many specific testing skills in a range of financial statement line items.

I enjoyed the challenge and meeting new people, the socials were fun. Sometimes the hours were quite long

Sometimes our teams were under resourced and therefore i was not coached to the extent i would have expected
