To care for the elderly by following policies and procedures set by our company and cqc laws. Helping with personal hygiene needs. Following Health and safety for ourselves and residents. Providing food and drink and helping to feed them where needed.
I have learnt more about my current role and learnt new skills to move onto my new role as senior carer,
I enjoyed learning new skills especially about the law. My tutor was always at hand to help me. I would encourage anyone to do the course.
It was well organised until it came to the end assessment which seemed daft when we have done the work and been watched on it too and already assessed. So to do a test and a online interview after seemed unnecessary
Not much from my employer. Still not been given much support to help with the course but with help from the tutor and from my own research I got through it.
My training provider was very helpful and happy to help when ever I needed it.
I can understand my role more and also able to deliver better care as I ha e more understanding of illnesses and conditions
No only in house training.
Yes
I have worked in worse places. Although It does need some improvement with supporting staff
Work hard and keep your head down, go to work to do your job not to make friends and socialise
