Assisting the Head of Internal with her role. My job is to help complete Audits around the company to ensure that business and operational level controls are working correctly to ensure compliance.
Yes. I have developed my communication and professional relationship skills, fact-finding skills, persuasion skills, critical report writing skills and data analyst skills.
I enjoy my programme a lot. It offers me the chance to work and gain a degree at the same time as being paid and gaining a wealth of experience. It is a fantastic start to my career.
Very organised. First Response Finance Limited have a specialist 'Early Careers Team' who look after and monitor our development closely. Sheffield Hallam are also very communicative. The structure between me, my employer and my university is clear.
I receive all support that I could want to off my employer. I feel that I am listened to and my opinion is valued. I have regular 1-2-1 meetings with my manager and my personal development is closely monitored.

I feel that my degree has helped my immensely. It has taught me the key skills of looking for true evidence in information, as well as critical writing skills that are key to developing my audit reports in my role.
Each quarter, each team is allocated a team building budget to spend how we choose. This is to be used in time away from work to develop or socialise as a team. I find this to be very beneficial when it comes to building relationships.
