My role was an auditor and some day to day tasks include rolling forward, test of details, audit of notes and helping the team complete EGAs
Yes I have become more confident, I have learnt how to use Aura and complete EGAs, I have also learnt new formulas in excel such as a VLOOKUP which helps with the mapping of a trial balance
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement as I was able to do actual audit work which helped me to understand what auditors actually do. I also met a lot of lovely people that I am looking forward to seeing next placement
It is quite organised, I have been available for work a few times but the majority of times I have been available, I have been given work to complete
There are a variety of people around who are happy to take time to support me with my work, even if I'm not on the same job as them
Lots of support, we get intensive training weeks and revision sessions
It gives me the foundation knowledge that it required to complete my work.
Yes, new joiners day, quiz's, christmas party, football and more
Yes
It is a very good job with lots of lovely people and there are always people there to support you.
Be confident and smile
