civil engineering surveyor : currently involved in track monitoring, 3d laser scanning, topographical surveys, setting out, as builts, technical assurance, writing rams, having to teach graduates straight from university basic surveying techniques.
every day is a school day on site, constantly learning new skills and how to adapt to certain types of work.
working with like minded people, teams do vary from project to project
by Costain as a whole not alot, but very much so within my team
not really been provided much support over the 4 years, the programme was lacking structure to begin with

Yes
In all fairness, I think the apprenticeship has developed a lot since I started in 2014, the programme is more robust providing a better support network and career opportunity's the benefits that costain offer are some of the best in the industry! but only once you've completed your apprenticeship are you able see the benefits
think out side of the box.
