  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work at Harrods operating the fire and security systems on a day-to-day basis. Learning the basics of electrical installation commissioning and installing components. There is a lot of work that needs to be done throughout the day as there are many sites open due to the redevelopment of the whole store

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have learnt many things ranging from people skills to hand skills, I would eventually like to become a senior commissioning engineer and I’m starting to learn the basics already so I already have one foot through the door. I had developed many skills even including health and safety on site.
