My job-role involves ensuring that financial firms are able to communicate across a variety of financial/technological systems. I may be required to setup new trade feeds or monitor the status of communication channels.
I have obtained a completely new skill set and discovered a new passion for financial technology. My presentation skills have improved as a result of demos that i have had to give clients.
In my opinion the program is the best way to start off a career as you get the real-world experience of working within a large firm paired with the qualifications you are working towards.
The program has a structure that is outlined before you begin however it is quite flexible and can be changed depending on the apprentice and the deadlines they need to meet.
Bloomberg is extremely pro-active in terms of support and will ensure that you have the tools you need to succeed and complete the program.
When requesting support from my training provider they will eventually get back to me and offer to help in a way that they believe is best suited.
The qualification i am completing currently is very different from my actual job role.
Bloomberg holds many annual events as well as groups/societies you can join.
