My official job title working for Costain is, Community Relations Assistant. Daily tasks include things such as, engaging with the public and assiting the Community Relations Manager.
I am growing in confidence whilst woking with Costain. I have news skills now such as CPR, Fire Warden, Diploma in Level 3 Business & Admin. I have developed on my communication skills & writing skills tremedously.
I have only recently started my apprenticeship but I am enjoying it highly so far.
I feel very valued by certain memebers of Costain, mainly my Line Manager & Mentor.

A lot of support from Apprenticeship Manager and assistant. Also my mentor and line manager.
My Salary/Package meets my costs ok - My travel costs are paid for. With my salary I pay the few bills I have and rent. I am left with some for social occasions. I look forward to my salary increasing with my job role.

Since I joined working with Costain in Feb 2013 I have recommended 2 people. The company is fantastic to progress with and offer every support and helping hand you need! The construction industry is growing and I feel my career opportunities are getting bigger and bigger.
