My role within my team is to assist and help anyone with their schemes, because of me only having 5 months experience it would be better for me to assist and learn that way, I help draw and amend CAD drawings, or complete VM reports.
I have learnt many skills in my time with kier, from learning how to use AutoCAD, and just general knowledge within the Civil Engineering industry.
I enjoy the programme as I am always learning new things, meeting new people and gaining experience.
Very well organised, the company had everything set up for me from the moment I started my first day.
Endless support, they cater to your needs and will help in any situation.
I receive one day a week in house college, so i get a good amount of learning in that day.
It helps me to understand the planning and how things are planned out within a scheme.
Yes there is an office football team and some of the guys meet at a jui-jitsu class.
