I am a civil engineer apprentice working in the traffic and safety team (highways). This includes designing/drawing schemes and making sure relevant documentation is completed. This also includes making sure the timeframe of certain tasks is compliant to the finish date.
I can confidently say I can complete highways and structures drawings and CDM documents independently and on-time within project timeframes.
I enjoy the programme massively as I have a good team who support me in what I do.
very well organised.
They allow us 1 day every week to complete the college course aswell as extra time elsewhere if necessary.
The past 2 years has been tough with LSP but the last 6 months has improved with 'Andy hamer' supporting us every way. We wouldn't have completed it without his help.
The qualification is more catered towards house construction and not the civil's part of construction/engineering.
Not a lot, although there used to be a five a-side football team.
Yes
The people and the office energy is excellent, I couldn't ask for anything better.
To be yourself and work hard. In the interview show you are confident and don't be scared as the people interviewing you will also be nervous.
