I am an Aprrentice Engineer, my every day task are too help the site Engineers with setting out on site. I have to interact with everyone everyday on site. I have the responsibilities on taking all the progress photos everyday and the updating the programme map.
I am curently working towards by BTECT level 3 in Civil Engineering and My NVQ level 3. I have been trained and many environemntal issues and on fire marshalling aswell. I think i have grown as a person, adding new strengths at communication, co-operation and motivation.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship, i feel i made the right disscusion when choosing this route and company.
I feel highly valued by Costain, they are always trying to help us apprentices grown in our carrers and i always feel part of my project.
The costain apprenticeship scheme is very well managed and looked after, the are very supprotive with training and our education.
I recieve good support from our training provider, they are always able to help us with any problems and can guide us when we are wrong, althought i fell they could give a little bit more.
I recieve a lot of support from costain, but the same as before, i feel that they could try and interact with us a bit more.
I feel my salary is a good salary, i can pay what i need to pay and still have money to go out and socialise.
Costain are always doing things outside of work, either charity work or pr events, they are always eger for the apprentices to get involved.

Costain is a great comapny to work for, the provide excellent support and oppourtunities for us. They make sure you are always progressing, and if you feel that you are not, they will help to change this.
Take in every single piece of information that people give to you. Always be yourself and confident when speaking to members of the company and other companies.
