Within day to day activities I do both site and office work to get a taste of what the working world is actually like. I do practical things on the job just like the qualified engineers.
I have developed skills in computing and using new equipment, the job has also helped with my social skills and getting involved with group and lone work.
I very much enjoy this programme because there is more freedom and help from the employers and the ability to learn and opportunities are always there.
The programme is very well organised however it is different now to what it was before as we were meant to move sections every moth however I enjoy my current one so much that there is no need.
I receive lots of support from my employer because there is lots of opportunity to excel in the job and help in understanding.
I receive lots of support from my training provider as they are very helpful in allowing me to learn at my own pace and help if needs be.
My qualification will help within my job role because a lot of the things we are learning within training time comes up during the time at work.
There are always things coming up to be able to get involved with such as Christmas parties and the odd activity outside of work hours.
Yes
Because it is a good company with great morals, respect and diversity within the whole business and job with no discrimination of anyone. It is a good company to get involved with because it provides support for all employees.
I would advise people to not expect things because there is always unpredictable things happening within the jobs and there is always a place for someone. Ensure that they have the correct qualifications and that they are passionate about the construction industry.
