Emptying the bins, sweeping up, taking the dinner list and getting dinners for everyone, maintenance of the workshop keeping it all clean and tidy. Learning from the qualified technicians and helping on occasional jobs with them to put the practice from college into the workplace. My role is to learn.
Yes learnt how to do lots of things on trucks that I wouldn't of been able to do also helped improver my communication skills with other people especially customers, I have also developed my problem solving skills to find the quickest easiest and smartest solution to certain problems in the workshop.
All depends on who is working on which days and whats happening on the week could range from loving every second of work to hating it but most of the time I find it enjoyable and feel im involved with everything and everyone which makes working a lot easier for me.
Well organised, most of the time, although I'm still waiting to be assigned a mentor, College is very well organised with train tickets arriving very early every time and everything being sorted for me when I get there. The work place is also very well organised and structured inside.
Nothing but support has been offered and they always try to make certain situations in your life as easy as possible. There is a lot of support in place and I feel comfortable to go speak to my employer about anything that is work or home related, there is also an apprentice manager to help aswell.
Not enough, have a visit from my skills coach every now and again but don't really know what im meant to be doing still with my evidence and portfolio for work that needs submitting. Would probably recommend a skills coach who doesn't have loads of other students so they can focus on helping set people at a time.
I haven't got any qualifications as of yet. l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l l

Yes
They want the best for all their employees and want them to live a prosperous life with a bright future. Think that every employer needs to support their workers like motus does as in other places its more for the business's gain and not for the individual workers gain.
To just be honest and to not feel scared of anyone who works here when you come for interview as everyone is nice and welcoming and just wants you to be the best version of yourself in the classroom and in the workshop and also even out of work too.
