On the Business Apprenticeship you are placed into either a Commercial, Project Management, Business Development, Manufacturing or Procurement function ( I am Procurement). You do 5 placements within your function and each one is different which gives you thorough experience in your field of work.
Yes, you advance upon a load of skills such as presenting, confidence, communication, spreadsheets, formulas, emails, calls and many more.
I love the apprenticeship and it not only teaches you about the world of Business, but it develops you as a person too.
The apprenticeship is extremely well structured and you never have to worry about placements and how busy you will be etc. The company invests a lot into the apprentices for good reason.
You recievce excellent support from BAE Systems in terms of help with work, mental health or even illness.
You have a study tutor in the placement you attend the ASK facility on a monthly basis for lessons.
The training that you do on study days are designed to guide you and aid you in your day to day roles. As a result they are extremely beneficial and help you do your best at work.
Apprentices regularly go on nights out and to events together as it is like one large community. Sporting activities are also organised by apprentices and are open to everyone to get involved in.
Yes
Although the starting salary is low you finish on more than double the orinal salary at the end of the two year course and you can often go on to do a degree in your function of work that is often funded by the company.
Just be you because if you train for the interview and get a job but you have come across like somebody that you're not; you will not perform well enough to meet the business needs and your performance will be too low to continue in the company.
