  • I have gained and developed many skills. For example- excel skills, company software knowledge. Also communication, both written and verbal. Presentation skills, teamwork and confidence

  • Very supportive but they don't micro-manage. Also different placement managers have different styles of teaching

  • Currently what I am learning has not overlapped yet in my role, but may well do so in future.

  • yes there are many networking chances and social activities

  • They are very supportive in your goals and take development seriously for their employees. Also very diverse environment and you have the opportunity to meet people from al walks of life. The senior staff have vast amounts of experience to pass on


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Transport for London?
  • Think about what TfL ethos and values are. and always do what is best to improve service for the customer. Show drive and ambition to excel in TfL
