as part of my role I am part of a Project Management team, helping to run a 7 year programme, I focus on scheduling, risk, opportunities, CSR work and the 12 month rolling programme
I have gained massive confidence in my role, I have improved my communication skills and professional responsibility as well, I have been given lots of opportunities to gain a bigger insight into the company and other areas such as mental health awareness, Addiction awareness and excel training.
I love working in BAE Systems, I find the culture so welcoming and inclusive, I enjoy my role and I like the level of management within the programme.
the programme has a good structure, there is no unknown areas and we have all been aware of the programme and how it runs from the beginning. the company are open to improvements on this and thrive to improve as each year goes on.
the support is second to none, any support you need you will get, the management is attentive but not overbearing. the occupational health is on site as well as the dentist and any mental health support, there is a 24 hour helpline available for all employee's as a confidential service
the support is amazing, you will get what you need from the college, the teachers are engaging and want to help, reply to emails quickly and with effective feedback.
the training I have been provided has allowed me to become curious into parts of the business I never knew existed, I have been able to ask questions and dive deeper into my role as a result of knowing more PM Knowledge
there are various social activities within BAE, there are running clubs, the gym, speakers club, various different sporting events and there are always regular networking events being organised.
