  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • in my role I am helping support production of work and seeing it go from drawings to production to then onto the customer. We are creating work packs with materials and job description for the tradesmen to complete the job

    • the skills I have now learnt are all IT based and also been developed aswell. my people skills and time keeping has also improved too

    • I really enjoy my programme its all new and is something that I have really taken in my stride

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • sometimes the organisation of the programme is up in the air but the course is new to Portsmouth Naval base and people are adjusting to it.

    • the support I receive personally as well as academically for the apprenticeship is fantastic

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • we have not really started getting into the qualification side of things so I cant say on this yet

    • I feel that once I get into the training my performance and quality will come through

    • there is a lot of things to do extra curricular activities that I can do for work and develop myself

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • BAE is a great place to work and a job for life if you put the hard work in. BAE provide a lot of incentives for working for them and you also have a vital role in whatever it may be but helping provide for the monarchy with there illustrious Navy

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?

    • make sure what you know you're applying for and what is going to be best for you. take time when applying and make sure you ca give it all to sell yourself and why you deserve to be here
