my role on a day to day basis generally consist of mainly computer based work using word and excel. a lot of the work I do involves handling and creating data as well as handling work query's. I also find time in the day to complete NVQ work which is the on the job training.
I have learned many new skills working here. skills I have learned include social skills , computer skills and general hands on skills such at machining and fitting skills. I have also increased my skills in speaking in front of a lot of people in presentations as I used t9o find this very challenging.
I enjoy the programme I am on very much. the work I do is always in the optimum zone of functioning. this means the work is not so hard I get stuck at every corner but challenging enough to grow my skills and increase my confidence in any task I am undergoing.
i find to programme is very structured. the work balance is very suitable and gives you a lot of opportunity to complete the work you need to do on time. this work includes college work, work for your placement and NVQ work. there is also a lot of support in place if you need it.
