Parts Apprentice, from bringing the goods in through the doors to booking them back out to customers who request them. This role includes manual dexterity for prolonged periods of time and is done in the safest way possible. I enjoy my job and hope to progress!
Yes, i have learnt a lot of the basics but there is still much to learn and things i could do better for not just myself but the company also, the skills i have learnt i am grateful for and will put into action whenever i see the opportunity.
I enjoy my programme very much and intend to take it to the furthest of its abilities achieving maximum qualification. Why? Because i like what i do and the service i provide which isn't a lot at this moment in time due to lack skills i hold.
In my opinion it is very well organised and structured due to the effort these people put in to make sure you have a full understanding, every visit i am made sure i'm aware of pretty much everything i'm doing and the next steps towards progression.
The support i receive from DAF is in my opinion the best support they can give, the training courses they send me on and the chance they gave me to see how DAF trucks are made has given be a better understanding on how everything works.
100% support, they tell and show me everything i request, even if not requested. Lets just say i do not have a clear understanding about something they will do anything they can to make sure i leave with the right understanding. This is appreciated massively.
Gives me confidence in whatever task i'm doing and sometimes feel comfortable pursuing them by myself, i think if it wasn't for the training i wouldn't still have this job as what iv learnt from them is all i know to this day.
There isn't no. I consider myself as a very busy individual (social life) the only time i have on my hands are for my friends, family and working hours.
Yes
Very good people who have a excellent relationship with customers.
If you are a negative individual who has very little aspect on life then this isn't the job for you, these are good people.
