At BAE im an electrical fitter apprentice, on a day to day basis I'm either in the workshop doing practical work or in the classroom doing coursework. the days consist of many different tasks to undertake. workshop work is by far my favourite. we also do course work on Tuesdays for out course.
being in the workshop ive developed a range of hand skills and learnt many new ones, using a variety of tools allowed me to expand my abilities learning helpful skills for my job. being in the classroom ive learned many new things that I can relate to my job also.
I enjoy the programme as im a big fan of working with my hands, I haven't yet done any work in my chosen trade but im sure that will arise soon. im not a massive fan of writing and doing coursework but its just something that comes with the job that we all have to do
our course is fairly organised couple parts haven't been well organised but with other problems arising in the company things got delayed
if I need support I can easily receive it but often im capable to do my own stuff without support.

the skills im learning will help me perform better in my role
the royal navy challenge is the only extra curricular activity that we've been presented.
