Fixing and maintaining trains so that they're fit for service, faults will be fixed on routine exams.
I've learnt various new skills, from pneumatic systems, regenerative braking with AC motors and how the industry works as a whole
The programme is good and you work with a lot of interesting people
The organisation is okay but with all apprenticeships with big companies it could be improved
The employer helps out where they can and will make sure that you feel like you're not ignored
There could be more support in terms of days to complete the work required for college and if you are doing HNC qualifications at the same time But it's manageable if you can plan the work in to your schedule
The qualification helps to gain a better understanding of the job and gain more knowledge on systems that I work on
Yes there is activities such as football teams and there are many social gatherings throughout the year to meet up with work colleagues

It is a good company to work for with a lot of opportunities to progress and learn
Research the company and gain a knowledge of how the company works as a whole so that you can ask questions at the interview, show a genuine interest in the job you're applying for
