repair and find faults talk to customers going out with trained jointer and jointers mates digging holes cut out changes
i have learnt how to do all the lv testing of cables and how to joint, repair and maintain all types of lv cable. I have learnt how to communicate better with a team a tell them what I need also to communicate with customers and clients when fixing there supply
I enjoy learning new skills like how to joint maintain and repair the cables. I also enjoy the activity's we do at college which included. kayaking, mountain biking, low ropes, high ropes, archery, golf. we also do team building activitys like escapes room which help build logical thinking and communication.
the programme is quite organised as we all ways have a course to go on or a place to be. but I would not say that I know what I will be doing every day as we have to wait for the fault be reported. as well as that some of the courses are a bit lack luster
I receive a lot of support from my employer as they are always finding different thing for us to like course, college or train. as well as that if we need anything like a joint or a job that cant be found you can ask them and they will help you find them

it helps us understand what is required to do our job and how to do the job in the most efficient and safe way. as well as that they provide us with plenty of different training opportunity's to go on and further our training. such as hv and lv jointing
the company does not directly provide extra curricular activity's outside of work. but at places like college there are more of a chance to do extra curricular activity's such as, escape rooms, mountain biking, kayaking, high ropes, low ropes, archery and many others. the company does provide benefits like concert tickets though but you do not always have a chance to get them
Yes
I would recommend this apprenticeship as it is well design one and is very good a provide the correct and necessary training to do the job you have applied for. however this job is very physically demanding and may not be for everyone/. but however it is a good apprenticeship and it is worth having a look at.
ask questions don't be afraid to get things wrong or look stupid. always ask people what they are doing or why they are doing that. be confident in what you are doing and don't be nervous. you will need a basic understanding of the electrical network and be able to think logically
