Currently, i'm attending NESCOT full time, on the Level 4 computing course. This has been progressive so far, and is enjoyable for the most part.
I was completely new to computing - so i have learnt a lot since starting in September 2019, and plan on developing those more greatly as time goes on.
I enjoy it on the most part - obviously i have off days as anyone does, but knowing that i start placement soon motivates me a lot.
Well structured overall - the order of each unit is well done.
A lot - our line manager is always keeping in touch and making sure we're happy and have all the resources we need.
Enough to help us complete the course to a minimum standard, but this is to be expected - you should work hard to achieve your own individual goals.
It allows me to have the basic skills, and to have a foundation to build upon, when working in the industry.
Not currently, but once on placement opportunities to socialise with employees will arrive - for example: 5-a-side football.
Yes
So far, the company has been very welcoming to me and clear about their manifesto - their goals as a company are very clear to see and easy to relate to.
I would recommend BAE Systems to anyone, who is willing to work hard for themselves, and be rewarded accordingly.
