General project control tasks, with some co-ordination responsibility. Work across multiple projects to help report on spend and schedule.
Yes I have learnt a variety of project management skills, mostly project control skills at this stage however do touch upon delivery elements.
I enjoy my programme as you study whilst earning and you get a variety of different placements in different locations if you wish to take this upon yourself. Good growth opportunity over the 5 years.
It is well organised and has a good support network, there is a clearly defined scope across the 5 years and it is made clear to you your potential growth opportunities.
I receive a lot of support as I am currently on a secondment so financially this has helped, there is also safeguarding support for all apprentices and people to speak to if you need assistance with things.
We attend college/university once a week, get set assignments and have to pass examinations. The support network is there however could be improved.
There is some learning that can be immediately transferred into the workplace but it depends on your role and how applicable the current module is to this. Often university learning helps by giving an overview of PM as a function.
Yes there are a number of activities that you can get involved with and we are registered with the APM so there are networking opportunities to pursue if you wish.

An excellent way to get on the career ladder, invests in it's employees so you leave with a decent level of experience, exposure to different projects and qualifications.
Research into the company, and the schemes that are available. Considering visiting the open days and speaking to other apprentices.
