I am involved with different levels of civil design for railway projects. I am responsible for creating CAD models and drawings on various projects which involves a lot of communication with others to get it right.
I have developed my communication skills and my organisation skills whilst working at Arup. I am undertaking a civil engineering degree currently which teaches me new skills all the time.
The programme can be challenging at times, but I am constantly learning and progressing.
I know exactly what is expected of me and how I should be progressing along with a timeline of my future progression.
My degree helps me to become an engineer and start to take on more responsibility with my own designs and project programming.
There are various sports teams and early careers socials that happen within Arup. Networking events are well communicated within the company.
