I work in London markets, I have assigned days to different teams, which is great for experience and keeps me very busy. I go between new homes, going on-site visits finding comparables for new schemes, with our international team helping the finance team and helping to create pitches/presentations, the land team, site fiding and the investment team,
I am constantly learning and developing skills while at work, and going between teams is extremely useful for this.
i really enjoy my programme and find it very interesting.
The programme has some organisational issues on the university side, but the company side is well structured and if you ever have an issue are very approachable and willing to change to make things better.
My line managers are always there and very approachable, they have supported me through not only work issues but personal too being very understandable and helpful.
very little
I find that I am getting much more help towards my qualification from colleges in the company as apposed to at University where the lectures are very unhelpful.
yes, there are many opportunities for extracurricular activities at work
Yes
I have had such a good experience with Cushman and wakefield, and love my job and colleges.
Be yourself and do your research, its a very different industry to any other and knowing your stuff helps so much, reading the process of the company and the most recent industry news will make you not only more desirable but it's interesting to find out where you think your passion may be.
