On a day to day basis, in the workshop we have a toolbox talk every morning which is mandatory. After the toolbox talk we are left to do our projects with the assessment books which we work through completing one project at a time which gives each apprenticeship hands on skills and understandings of how a workshop works.
I have learned plenty of skills through out my apprenticeship such as leading a team within the outward bound week, I can bring these skills into my day to day life. I have also developed the skill of being able to understand the engineering drawings for the given projects.
I enjoy this apprenticeship as it offers me a structured programme allowing me to strive for success through out the apprenticeship and it also opens so many career doors for my future.
The programme is very well organised as it offers each apprentice hands on training with lots of life long skills.
As an apprentice I receive any help I require which is always good as we are all learning.
I receive lots of help from the training provider working towards my qualifications as they always want us to do our best within all qualifications.
I believe the qualifications gives me plenty of knowledge for the job role I am going to get into.
There is things such as soap box, where apprentices build a cart to race.
Yes
I would recommend BAE to a friend as the training programme is very high quality and it offers all the required training needed for the job role.
I would give the advice of always try hard in everything you do within the apprenticeship as many rewards come with it. Working hard while in the apprenticeship can give you a successful career.
