I look after the children in the nursery. I do activities with them such as art and crafts and taking them outside. I change nappies, help the children to eat, clean up after mealtimes and at the end of the day. When the children leave I handover to parents.
I have learnt about children's development at different ages, the policies set in place at nurseries. I have learnt health and safety and safeguarding and skills such as changing nappies
I really enjoy my programme. I love looking after the children and getting to know each one as an individual.
There are courses that can be taken such as health and safety, and safeguarding
Yes
All the people are very friendly, I feel supported and I always get help when I need it.
Make sure you know important information such as the policies at the nursery
