I am a Sales Apprentice in the London office here at Softcat. This is like no other apprenticeship out there purely because of the support you will receive and the people that work here. They allow you to get stuck in to the I.T Sales industry through cold calling and general Account management whilst providing you with both external and internal training. The external training provided is super unique and valuable, and ensures that your outlook on Sales is effective in the I.T industry. This is such a huge opportunity thanks to the culture of Softcat and the nature of the I.T Industry. Therefore, it’s definitely worth applying if you want to be challenged and excited by both a company and a job.
Certainly! Confidence has certainly improved as they really push you to reach your best potential. As well, i have become more independent thanks to the life skills i have taken on board!
It really is good fun. I look forward to coming in to work everyday and i think that pretty much sums it up:)
I am in the Public sector division here at Softcat, and this is an extremely well structured area to be in. We have weekly meetings where we are set a unique challenge for that specific week. It allows you to learn different areas of technology and it also helps to bring out my competitive edge!
In my team here at Softcat, the amount of support i receive is endless! Every member of my team is more than happy to help as and when i need it. Also, the training provider always go out of their way to assist if required
Endless support. We have two sessions dedicated to the qualification per month, and these focus days go along way to help ensure we achieve the best grade possible
They provide training which is more technical, which allows us to improve our knowledge in regards to I.T itself! Therefore, we are in a better position to be more credible in the industry
Thanks to Softcat’s unique culture, there are soooo many events and fun activities to get involved in. For example, events such as “Fouders Day” are completely crazy and so much fun. There really is nowhere else to compare when it comes to social events and culture
Yes
Unique, fun, challenging and there is so much potential to grow and develop in this company !
Get stuck in with Softcat’s culture, and enjoy the ride :)
