I am a an account manager, my role consists of building relationships with customers to gain new business and sell more to exiting customers here at Softcat. My days are very varied some days are consists of cold calling new customers, where others will consist of building existing relationships with my current customers
This program has allowed me to develop in many different areas over the course of the coming weeks, one of the big areas i have developed my skills is in sales training. This has been a steep but enjoyable learning curve for my self, this program has allowed me to develop my skills as a person aswell
This programme is very enjoyable, this has made its easier to undertake the work on a day to day basis. This allows me come in to work everyday with a positive attitude, and the will to work to a high standard with a company that i love and enjoy working for

The training providers allow me to improve both my skills as ana account manger and a person. The training allows me to gain new knowledge about the role and this helps me to improve as a account manager, this because i have better product knowledge and role knowledge. The sales training also allows me improve in this area
There are plenty of extra-curricular activities to get involved with at softcat, for example a couple weeks after I started i jumped at the opportunity to get involved with a charity rugby match against Microsoft. This was for the mind charity, this allowed me to gain new relic ships with new colleagues.

I would recommend softcat to a friend because it is an amazing place to work, the business is filled with exciting new opportunities for young people like myself. There is som much room to grow and learn within the business, for example i have learnt so much about the it industry since starting the business.
