Arranging funerals, taking first calls, admin, checking of deceased , community work
I have learnt how to help people with the different stages of grief and how best to communicate with them. Funeral care procedures, health and safety
I find it all quite fascinating as funeral care is always something I have wanted to get into for many years
It is organised well but I do find the Oracle part quite confusing and I am not fully sure how to use it, I don't remember being shown
We have regular reviews with management and they seem to want you to progress
They are always on hand if they are needed
It is a recognised qualification throughout the COOP, I do not see the need for the maths and English part though as we do not need this in order to do the role
We get into the community a lot to show we are here and to try and keep hold of market share

To ask themselves if they really want to study again? The apprenticeship wasn't explained much in the interview
