Completing a safe to serve, opening the funeral home, greeting clients. Arranging plans or funerals, sorting enquires for stonemason, plans, jewellery. Answering the phone updating the computer. Conducting chapel visits with families. Liaising with families, next of kin, doctors, mortuary's, hospitals, crematoriums, churches, vicars, celebrants. ordering flowers, order of services, Funeral directors and ceremonial staff. cleaning the funeral home, coffee morning once a week. Taking money, banking and petty cash. Setting the alarm and locking up.
Maths and English.
I have enjoyed my training for my role, there are still a lot of other roles I would like to explore too.
There has been times when the training has been a little lax but then there have been some difficult times for me during my apprenticeship

My experience with the co-op has been mainly positive throughout my employment with them
To be yourself, kind, caring and be prepared to have some difficult times with some of the clients we have, they have just lost someone very dear to them. They need to be compassionate.
