I am a Business Administration Apprenticeship working in Supply chain. I work with the Business Operations team and on a day-to-day basis I assist in taking data from different areas of Supply Chain and putting this into a pack to be presented to the managers/directors of Supply Chain.
I have learnt many skills along the way. This includes: using excel spreadsheets, being able to understand data from a report and being able to understand certain parts of Supply Chain.
I really enjoy the programme. It allows me to learn new things on a daily basis and I get to overlook the different tasks my team faces. I am looking forward to moving around placements to learn further.
The programme is organised.
A sufficient amount of support if i require it.
A sufficent amount at the moment being only a few months into the programme.
I feel like the things I learn throught my qualification really helps in my role for example learning the meanings of some words that may be used in the office and having an understanding of different aspects of the company.
In work there can be social activites such as a Christmas meal which is ideal to bring the team closer together.
Yes
BAE is a very good company to work for. I feel that the company looks after each employee and I appriciate how serious they take mental health and Wellbeing as well as safety. On top of this, BAE is a very exciting place to work when learning new things.
