Arranging funerals, including all the legal paperwork and financial administration. dealing with clients and their needs.

I had no experience of the funeral industry, so everything I have learnt has been new, and I have built on my existing communication skills

I enjoy the job, but not the NVQ work.

Very well structured, I know exactly what is expected of me

My employer wants me to get the qualification, but doesn't seem to want to see it have any impact on the business during the time we need to complete the training

I always feel I could contact my training provider if I needed guidance or advice

You will be left to your own devices a lot at a very early stage, probably before you feel ready
