I have learnt new skills including: Transfer of deceased; Care and preparation of deceased; Removal of deceased from living abode; Coffin preparation.
I feel that the ‘apprenticeship’ program is quite difficult to follow and seems very complicated as we are only required to include ‘new’ learning. I think the program needs to be altered in it’s entirety.

I like working for the Co-op however I feel that the apprenticeship program is extremely poor, not well thought out and totally irrelevant. Perhaps it’s just a tick box exercise to pacify a government department?
I am not experienced enough to proffer advice but I would inform potential employees that working for the Co-op is great.
