My role is to maintain the children have good care and fulfill their educational needs. I must assess and track their activities and plan for them. I also must arrange activities to help develop their learning and look after their well being.
Yes I have learnt more skills and gained more independence and confidence during this apprenticeship.
I enjoy going to work and doing my job everyday. I enjoy caring for the children and getting to know them as they are assessed.
I think that it is organised. I always have enough time to do the work set and help if I need it.
I receive support from my employer at work if I need and we have good communication.
My provider has been very helpful throughout my level 2 and now my level 3. I have found her very supportive and easy to talk to. She explains things well and makes them easy to understand.
I feel like my qualification helps me have a bigger understanding of things in my day to day practice and makes things such as paperwork easier to do.
Since I have been at my work there has been 2 work meals, a meeting and an informal opening of a new nursery. So I do feel as if there is lots to get involved with.
Yes
I feel as if they have been supportive and have given me the opportunity to progress in my career. They have also been fair with my training and pay.
I would inform them that the company is big and to look at which setting would be best for them whether it be one of the quieter ones or the busier one.
