I work as a customer manager my main role is taking calls, dealing with customer enquiries and servicing policies
I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding the insurance market, how it works, whats involved and also about the different roles within insurance. I can now explain what insurance is easily to members
I am really enjoying the apprenticeship and the knowledge im gaining
the structure of the programme is really good there are lots of revision aids and tools to help. Before the apprenticeship started there was a webinar to go through which ensured we knew what was expected and what support we would get
RSA have given a lot of support for this, every week I get 2 hours off the phone to work through my apprenticeship and though im in a capacity planned role I always get the relevant time needed if not extra time to study
My talent coach is very helpful, I can email her with any queries and we have regular catch ups and reviews to help with my progress
I feel it helps me be able to explain details clearly to members and also my team mates so we have better knowledge
We have a pride team here at nationwide so I can get involved in this, we also have regular training sessions on important subjects such as IDD, complaints, defaqto and compliance which help towards my apprenticeship also
