  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I believe the content of the course was not informative enough. It was pretty self explainatory, and I really didn't feel I learned a great deal. For example having to explain the positives of team work etc.... I'm 47 years old, and ex police officer, Hotel manager etc.. with oodles of team work experience..it was laborious.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I can honestly say I didn't enjoy it, it was too basic and took up too much time with work books, and writing answers out for the assessment, which you have just written in the work book.

    2/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It seemed well structured and the assessor was good.

    7/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Very little, we are supposed to have allocated time per week, but we never get it, and have just had to do bits and pieces as and when.

    3/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • She was supportive and organised. She has however just been made redundant, so I now have to get used to a new trainer.

    8/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It hasn't really taught me anything, because I have an experienced back ground of working with people in difficult circs, and the legislation etc was a refresher. Nothing has made me perform better from the course.

    2/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We do community work, fund raisers, charity work etc

    7/10
